Who We Are
River Side Church Of Christ has been serving Springfield for over 40 years. We are a multi-generational congregation committed to knowing Jesus and making him known — through Sunday gatherings, midweek groups, and everyday neighborliness.
Whether you have been in church your whole life or this is your first time exploring faith, you belong here. Come as you are; stay for coffee in the lobby; take a next step when you are ready.
Our elders and ministry leaders walk with families through every season — births, baptisms, grief, and celebration.
Plan Your Visit
Your First Visit
When you arrive, our welcome team will help you find parking, childcare, and a seat. Services last about 70 minutes and include singing, prayer, communion, and a message from Scripture.
Dress is casual — come as you are. Kids and nursery check-in opens 15 minutes before each service. Stay for coffee in the lobby afterward; we would love to meet you.
Our Faith
What We Believe
We hold to the historic Christian faith as expressed in the Apostles' Creed. Scripture is our authority; grace is our message; community is our context.
We practice baptism by immersion for believers, weekly communion, and mutual care as the body of Christ. We partner with churches across our city to serve and share the gospel together.

Kids & Nursery
Sundays during both services
Safe, fun, gospel-centered environments for birth through 5th grade. Check-in opens 15 minutes before each service.
Senior Adults
2nd Tuesdays · 11:30 AM
Fellowship lunches, Bible study, and seasonal outings for our 55+ community.
Serve Teams
Rotating Sundays
Greeting, hospitality, facilities, and meal trains. Find a spot that fits your gifts and schedule.
Small Groups
Various nights
Weekly groups across the city for prayer, study, and life together — from young adults to empty-nesters.

Wednesdays · 6:30 PM
Middle and high school gatherings with teaching, worship, and small groups. Friends are always welcome.
